Founder - Human Potentialist
Where are you in this photo and why is it a moment that means a lot to you?
This is me half way through my third Great South Run (GSR). This race particularly means a lot to me as I ran with my niece who after being incredibly nervous on the start line, amazed herself - I was so proud of her. Running is the thing that both centres me and gives me the courage I need to keep working towards my goals. I spend many runs either bigger picture planning or working through life’s little challenges, always returning feeling just that little bit more focused and fearless.
I find the ethos of events like the GSR hugely uplifting. I love it when human beings (and most strangers at that) come together to experience something awesome. The next time you do a park run or take part in a hobby that you enjoy, take a moment to look around at the other likeminded souls that are there with you (at 8.45 on a chilly Saturday morning!) and you’ll see what I mean. It’s this magic of ‘I’m doing something cool with other human beings today’ that we at Evolve give people in our unique training experiences.
What type of work as a human potentialist really makes you tick?
I’ve been a Coach & Business Owner for nearly 10 years and am fortunate to have worked with incredible individuals and teams from all different backgrounds - professional services, engineering, education and charity to name but a few. Our self & world view is everything - it determines the choices we make and the limitations we place upon ourselves, and so I’m particularly passionate about helping people to see all the wonderful things they can do, create and be. I also thrive on working with teams to create cohesiveness and a ‘we’re stronger together’ culture based upon our unique Human Centred Leadership approach. Last but not least, I love building and delivering unique training experiences that inspire people to believe in themselves and go after the goals that matter to them.
What makes you proud to be a part of Team Evolve?
The wonderful and talented people who are here on this page (big shout out to Team Evolve) and the opportunity we have as a collective to inspire people to live their best lives.
